Terri Pecora


Terri Pecora , southern Californian, was born in 1958. She studied fashion illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and in 1988 transferred to Italy to attend Domus Academy in Milan for product design. In 1991 established her own studio and designs for a variety of European companies such as BRF, Marco Bicego, DNA, Ceramica Tecla, Esprit, Edra, Interflex/Flou, Montblanc, Plumcake Kids/Prenatal, San Lorenzo, Simas, Silouette / Adidas, Swatch, Vice Versa and Zanotta.

The projects she works on vary from furniture, art direction and grafics, fashion accessories, bathroom fittings, childhood and household products, and now, thanks to Dom Ceramiche she also includes in her portfolio wall and floor coverings. Terri has taught design at Domus Academy, Istituto Europeo di Design, the Universtità degli Studi “ la Sapienza ” in Rome and since1998 has taught a corse of design/fashion at the University Politecnico in Milan.

She has acquired expertise in the jewellery sector by working with goldsmiths, she created LINK for San Lorenzo. Her necklace is an everyday piece of jewellery that comes from familiarity in designing them and the recent desire to wear them daily with naturalness.
